What is it:
Chamakpatti (literally "shiny stickers" in Urdu) is a unique art form in South Asia. Truck drivers in South Asia paint flowers and birds of their home villages onto the sides or inscribe personal mantras for long drives across the country. These bright colors also improve road safety at night, especially in poor light.

How it's made:
The trucks, and this piece, are made from hand stamping very thin steel plates with a 3D design and any personalization. After this, highly durable stickers are added to add color and layered effects in a way that mimics paint. Then, the plate is bolted to an existing, high quality hard plastic shell carryon.
